I give a voice to what it’s like to start a restaurant. To own and sustain a restaurant. To suffer the ups and downs of an unrelenting business, of employees, financial issues, customers, the city, critics, Tweets, posts and the endless array of Yelpers, both good and bad. To keep moving forward during a life crisis and while raising a daughter alone. I take notes, watch, learn, help, encourage, and champion.
